Scholarships

Scholarships help students pay for their education. Unlike student loans, you do not have to repay scholarships. The website, Smart Student Guide to Financial Aid, provides general information about scholarships.

St. Philip's College, as part of the Alamo Colleges, awards a limited number of scholarships to eligible students.   The scholarships may range from $300 - $1,500 per academic year.

What are the minimum eligibility requirements for most scholarships?

  • Enroll as a student working toward a degree or certificate
  • Enroll for at least 6-12 semester hours
  • Be a U. S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress
  • Not owe any money to this or any other college or be in loan default.
