Collision Technology

The Collision Repair program prepares students to meet the growing demand for skilled auto body technicians. Students learn to repair and refinish vehicle bodies damaged due to collision, corrosion, or vandalism. In addition to becoming familiar with the use of hand and power tools, students learn skills in welding, auto mechanics and metallurgy. The program emphasizes classroom training in cost estimating, frame repairs, collision work and refinishing. Students also benefit from working in up-to-date laboratories, experiencing hands-on training in the latest techniques and tools of the trade.
