Welcome to the SLAC Website!

 

Congratulations to Roxanne C. for being voted the SLAC Part-Time Employee of the Month for the month of August 2009.

 

The Student Learning Assistance Center, or SLAC as it is more commonly known, is located in room 726 of the Moody Learning Center on the San Antonio College campus. It is designed to help the San Antonio College students get the most out of their education. We provide free tutoring in a number of academic areas, in addition to over 100 computers with more than 600 computer applications for the students' academic use. In this site you will find information on the SLAC ranging from our hours of operation to a detailed listing of the services we provide.

 

During the 2008 Fall semester, the SLAC's application for CRLA certification at Level III (Master) was approved by the College Reading and Learning Association.
