Celebrate the beginning of International Education Week at the AC District office downtown. All students, staff, and faculty are welcomed!
Tuesday, Nov. 17 “Study Abroad & Foreign Language Opportunities” Fiesta Rm 11:30-1:30
Come find out the interesting array of foreign language classes SAC offers, such as Japanese, Chinese and Italian! Also, learn about exciting study abroad opportunities for Japan, Costa Rica and Europe coming in Summer 2010!

International Students will be selling sausages.
Wednesday, Nov. 18 “Bridges to the World-Focus on Asia” VATC 120 11:00-12:00
SAC students from Vietnam, Mongolia and India will talk about their countries’ geography, customs, languages and political systems. San Antonio College professor, Dr. Jonathan Lee will also facilitate a discussion on issues faced in the students’ countries.
Wednesday, Nov. 18 “Book Talk” VATC 120 1:00-2:00
Maricarmen Esper, a SAC international student, will be discussing her book, “How to Educate in Ethical Values.” This book provides the foundation and information needed to implement an educational program intended to promote ethical values of honesty, responsibility, self control, respect, discipline, justice, tolerance, patriotism and joy.
Thursday, Nov. 19 “Short Film-Afghan Women” VATC 120 11:00-1:30
Afghan Women: A History of Struggle captures the resilience and courage of a group of remarkable women who risk their lives daily in their struggle for political, economic and social equality. San Antonio College instructor, Catherine Miller, will lead discussion after the film.
